Great Kingshill - village living in a sought after location

Located on the A4128 Missenden Road, Great Kingshill is a quiet Chiltern village lying between Great Missenden (approximately 2.5 miles) and High Wycombe (approximately 4 miles).

At the heart of the village is the common, which has a children’s play area, and is the home of the Great Kingshill Cricket Club. Just across the road, on the corner of New Road is the Village Hall offering venue facilities as well as being a popular place for locals to gather every Friday morning for coffee. The local pub, The Red Lion, is a friendly establishment incorporating a restaurant serving fresh local produce, while groceries can be obtained at the local SPA convenience store or the Cryers Hill Post Office.

The surrounding countryside offers many walks through woods and over footpaths while activities include golf at Hazlemere Golf Club, tennis at Great Missenden Lawn Tennis Club or Hazlemere Tennis Club and riding schools at Spurlands End Farm and Shardeloes Farm.

Communications are excellent: by road the A4128
links to the M40 junction 4 only 5 miles distant. By rail High Wycombe and Great Missenden main line stations provide services to Marylebone in approximately 40 minutes. There is also a good local bus service to High Wycombe and Great Missenden and a taxi service at Great Missenden station.
